The First Holy Communion programme usually starts in September/October for those children who have just started in Year 3 at school. The courses are run at all three churches
There are 8 monthly sessions, including a Reconciliation service and a celebratory Mass at the end of the programme. Meetings are held on Saturday afternoons for children and parents to encourage a sense of belonging to the Church community.
Parents are asked to register their interest in the course from August. For more information contact your local parish office (the parish you are registered with).
The courses for the 2012-2013 programme has now started so we are not taking in anymore applicants. Application forms will be available for the 2013-2014 programme in August. For further enquiries please contact us.
If your child is in year 4 and above and would like to receive their First Holy Communion then there is a course run in parallel with the regular St Joseph's programme. For further enquiries please contact us.
