Jeremiah 1:4-9
"The word of the LORD came to me, saying, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. " "Ah, Sovereign LORD," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child." But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD. Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "Now, I have put my words in your mouth'."

I truly believe that this generation of young people really can be the prophets of today (not just tomorrow!) and I feel it's our job as GYM leaders to facilitate their growth in God's greatness. I believe that they are the "Church" of today as well as the future. When I think of the word Church I immediately think of community built on the foundations of love and not a building. jGYM, GYM, our youth band & DAMASCUS is all about creating a non-judgemental environment where young people can be inspired, be creative and most importantly be themselves. I feel that God has called me to dedicate my time and energy to facilitating this GYM place."
